What Drivers Education Didn't Teach You
 

This is a wonderful opportunity for teen drivers.  Our chapter holds a clinic annually at State Fair Park.  For all of you non-teen drivers, you are welcome too - but preference will be given to teens.

Let us show your teen how to become a BETTER & SAFER driver!

Date:  Saturday, June 5, 2010
Time:  8:00 am - 4:00 pm
Where:  Wisconsin State Fair Park, West Allis, Wisconsin
Sponsors:  Audi Club of North America and Shell Oil

This clinic is for teens who want to sharpen their driving skills and to improve their handling of a vehicle under various road conditions.  You will drive the car you drive every day.  (Sorry, no SUV's). 

If under 18, you must be accompanied by a licensed adult, parent or guardian.  They must remain present for the duration of the event.

You'll learn:

• Driving basics
• Importance of vision
• Cornering - understeer and oversteer
• Braking
• Proactive vs. reactive
• Effects of weight transfer
• Driver courtesy
• Safe following distance

Cost:  Lunch/snacks are $15 per person. 

How to Register:

• Go to www.motorsportreg.com.  If you don't have an account on Motorsportreg.com, create an account.  It's free and it's easy.  Just follow the directions on the site.  If you're not an Audi Club member, just leave that space empty.
• On the home page, scroll down until you get to the June events.  You'll see Audi Club NA - Badger Chapter - Wisconsin State Fair Park.  Click on the registration bar and sign up!
• Send your check ($15 for each person attending - teen, parent, other drivers) to the address below (the address is also displayed in the motorsportreg.com confirmation email)

Important Information

• Each driver - or parent - is responsible for the condition of the car.  It must be in good working order:  no leaks, no cracked glass, good tires, good seat belts, and in good working condition.  We will look over each car with you before the event.
• Driving in this clinic will not hurt your car or void any warranties.
• Be sure to fill your gas tank before you arrive at State Fair Park.
• Lunch is included for each paid driver and paid parent.  Additional lunches can be ordered for $15 each.
