Interested in becoming an officer or board member of our chapter?

We will be holding elections for our Board of Directors in October, 2008.  Each position will serve for three calendar years.

We are looking for members interested in helping our chapter grow.  Our mission is to enhance the ABC member's experience.  If you are interested or would like to nominate someone, please complete our online nomination form.

Deadline for receipt of nominations is September 12, 2008.  Nominators and nominees must be current ACCNA members.  All current members will receive an email with a link to an online ballot.  These emails will be distributed by October 31, 2008.  Your new Board of Directors will be introduced at the ABC Holiday Party.

Positions Up for Election:

• President
  • Responsibilities:   Responsible for the management of the business of the ABC Chapter.  The President presides at all ABC meetings.  Serves as the liaison with the Audi National Car Club, all track organizations and related-organizations. 
• Vice President
  • Responsibilities:  Presides at ABC meetings when the President is unavailable.  Responsible for setting the monthly agenda and sending emails to board members reminding them of meeting date/time/location.  Assumes the responsibilities of President whenever the President is not available.  Oversees committees appointed by the President. 
• Secretary
  • Responsibilities:  Keeps the minutes of the ABC meetings.  Serves as custodian of the ABC organization records.
• Treasurer
  • Responsibilites:  Keeps accurate financial records of the organization and deposits all monies and checks received during the course of business.  Has the responsibility of disbursing organization funds and issues checks in the name of the chapter. 
• Board Member (2 positions)
  • Responsibilities:  Attend board meetings, accept assignments from the President and Vice President to work on on chapter-related projects.
     

The outgoing president will become a member at large on the board.
