Come on out for a lovely drive through the back roads of Wisconsin. Get that Audi out of hibernation!
Our destination is the EAA AirVenture Museum in Oshkosh. Routes have been planned from the Madison and Milwaukee areas. Detailed maps and instructions for the route of your choice will be emailed to you once you have registered. We plan to meet at the museum at 11am, tour the museum and then have a late lunch (around 2pm) at Fratellos Waterfront Brewery & Restaurant . A children's menu is available at the restaurant. Join us for lunch and relax before the drive home. You're on you own to find your way home. Your registration fee covers your admission to the museum and morning snacks upon arrival at the museum.
Milwaukee Route - Meet at the Target at I43 and Highway 60 at 8:30am. The route is 80 miles long and should take about 2 hours. Details will be emailed to you if you select this route. Madison Route - Meet at the Target in Middleton at 8am. The route is 111 miles long and should take about 3 hours. Details will be emailed to you if you select this route. Other routes - Make your own route and meet us at the EAA museum between 10:30 and 11am.
If you haven't been to this museum, you will find it to be one of the best in the country. This is a wonderful educational opportunity for the entire family. A special feature (a $6 separate fee) is the MaxFlight Simulator - the most advanced flight simulator in the world.
