Instructors! This is very important…please read…

We appreciate you for volunteering to help at this event. This year, you need a code to register as an instructor and the only way you can get it is to email Mary mmedo@wi.rr.com If you’re a relatively new instructor, it’s best that you include your driving and instructing resumé in your email. The event master will make the final decision regarding instructors. If you have questions and want to call, Mary’s phone number is: 414-247-1298

If you drive a convertible, read this!

The ACNA Driving Committee has established these rules related to convertibles and driving schools .

No convertibles will be allowed to participate at any ACNA driving school that takes place on a ‘race track’. This includes TTs, Boxters, BMWs, etc. Vehicles with factory roll hoops and/or deployable roll over protection will not be allowed.

For the above excluded vehicles to be allowed to participate at a ‘race track’ the minimum requirements are:

1. A four-point roll cage consisting of a main hoop behind the front seats with two rear braces.

2. A four- and preferably five-point safety harness.

3. Arm restraints are recommended but not required at this time.

Removable hard tops are not considered structural roofs. The only exception is if they meet the minimum ‘race track’ requirements [as detailed above].

The ACNA Driving Committee has a ruling on SUVs and SAVs:

No SUVs or SAVs are allowed at any Audi Club Driving School, this includes the Audi Q7. The only possible exception would be at an Ice Driving School. So do you think we’ll let you drive your truck on the track?
